Off Duty
My latest brunch venture took me to Sunroom Café, a small restaurant on State Street that honestly does not look like much. Tucked away upstairs with a fairly small dining room, Sunroom Café is an absolute must try brunch spot. With fair prices, a wide range of options and a laid-back atmosphere, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
I decided to build my own omelette, which they have a wide range of options to do! I chose tomato, mozzarella and spinach to put on mine (perfect combination). The texture of the omelette was a perfect, melt in your mouth consistency. The omelettes also come with breakfast potatoes, which were on the salty side just the way that I like them! Two pieces of whole wheat toast came on the side as well (yes all included in an under $10 price)! They also serve lunch and dinner at Sunroom Café and I think I may need to check out the menu. For the amount of food you get at such good quality, I see little reason to keep venturing out for a new brunch spot in Madison. Of course, I still will but I know that I have definitely found my new go-to!
Go to Sunroom Café if you live in Madison for a wonderful brunching experience! Stay tuned for more posts in my “Brunch Quest” series.
