To be straight, this has been a hectic month for me. As someone who absolutely loves Halloween, it has been disappointing to have a calendar so overflowing that I have barely had time to watch any Halloween movies or partake in the seasonal activities. Hopefully, November slows down a bit more! The good news is that a busy schedule has brought me lots of favorites for the month!

Last Saturday October 15th, I was blessed with the opportunity to attend College Fashion Week in Chicago. After my summer in New York, these past months being separated from city life and the fashion scene have been very painful so this was a much-needed experience! Why I Love American Horror Story

Most of my good friends know that I am completely obsessed with American Horror Story. I discovered the show about two years ago and have loved it ever since. For those who aren’t familiar, each season the show takes on a different theme or location with different characters that are often played by the same actors of the previous seasons. Past themes have included: Murder House, Asylum, Coven, Freak Show, Hotel and now Roanoke.

Brunch Quest: Short Stack Eatery

I first ate at Short Stack Eatery briefly after it opened a couple of years ago. I don’t remember specifically what I ordered, but I know it was some kind of pancakes (I think blueberry). Either way, I wasn’t overly thrilled by them so I didn’t feel the need to go back for awhile. After constantly walking past Short Stack’s huge line on the weekends, I decided to give it another go.
